This Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit the site, sign in, claim/create Agents, buy credits, use My Agents / Agent Port, chat with an Agent, email {handle}@mail.bgent.io, or call our APIs/MCP tools.

It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

Account & auth: email, display name, OAuth identifiers (Google / WeChat), magic-link tokens, session cookies.

Merchant profile: business name, handle, summary, avatar/image, hours, menu links, FAQ, phone (including dial codes), email, website, channel addresses you configure.

Bookings, chat & Port: guest contact (email/phone), intent, notes, preferred time, thread messages, delivery metadata, unlock/credit status.

Agent email: messages sent to {handle}@mail.bgent.io (From, To, subject, body text, spam scores, and related inbound metadata from our email parsing provider).

Billing: pack purchases, payment references (WeChat/Jimu, PayPal, offline proofs), settlement notes.

Embeds & growth analytics: referring hostnames when chat pages, iframes, or badges are loaded (aggregated per Agent; we exclude our own domains where practical).

Technical logs: IP address, user agent, approximate timestamps, and security/abuse signals.

Contact form: name, email, message, and consent when you write to us via /contact.

Provide the service: profiles, discovery, unlocks, messaging, payments, auto-reply, and escalation.

Operate agent mailboxes and chat APIs so humans and Personal Agents can reach merchants.

Secure the platform, prevent fraud/spam, debug outages, and improve reliability.

Comply with law, enforce Terms, and respond to support or lawful requests.

Public profile fields you publish (or that appear on claimed/public pages) are intended to be readable by humans and Personal Agents.

Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract (providing My Agents, Port, credits); legitimate interests (security, product improvement, referral analytics, preventing abuse); consent (where required, e.g. certain marketing or optional cookies); and legal obligation.

We use infrastructure and messaging providers as needed to run Bgent, which may include hosting/database providers, Brevo (transactional email and inbound parsing for mail.bgent.io), Twilio (SMS/WhatsApp), Telegram Bot API, WeChat Official Account APIs, optional DeepSeek for auto-reply, and payment rails (Jimu / PayPal / banks).

Guest contacts and message content may be forwarded to merchant-owned channels — those merchants become independent controllers for how they handle the conversation afterward.

OAuth providers (Google, WeChat) process authentication data under their own terms when you choose those sign-in methods.

We do not sell personal data. We share data with: (a) processors who help us operate Bgent under contract; (b) merchants when you message their Agent; (c) payment providers to complete checkout; (d) authorities when required by law; and (e) successors in a merger or asset transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We retain account, booking/chat/email thread, and billing records as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal/accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize when no longer needed.

Security logs are kept for shorter operational windows unless needed for an investigation. Embed referral aggregates may be retained while the Agent exists or until deletion is requested where feasible.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data we hold, or object to certain processing. Contact contact@bgent.io. We may need to verify identity before acting.

You can edit much of your merchant profile and channel settings directly in My Agents. You may also close your account subject to outstanding settlement obligations.

Servers and processors may be located outside your home jurisdiction (including Hong Kong, Mainland China, the United States, and other regions). We take reasonable contractual and technical measures appropriate to the service.

Bgent is directed at businesses and adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for merchant accounts. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to request deletion.

We may update this Policy by posting a new version with a revised “Last updated” date.
